OUR MISSION
At Flourish Law Group, we believe that guiding our clients through the estate planning or probate process should be more than just a legal transaction—it should be personal, empowering, and modern process, where long-standing relationships are born.
Flourish Law Group was born out of a shared desire to make estate planning more approachable and more accessible, with a truly curated personal touch.
We started out as assigned college roommates over 20 years ago, and then both ended up in law school and ultimately in big law and banking serving high net worth clients.
But as we saw so many families struggle through the outdated, impersonal planning process and, all too often, the archaic probate system, we knew something needed to change.
We wanted to bring a fresh, modern approach to estate planning—one that didn’t feel cold or complicated. That’s how Flourish Law Group came to be: a law firm focused on providing a personal touch while simplifying the process for our clients. We know that planning for the future is about more than just legal documents—it’s about peace of mind and leaving a meaningful legacy.

Kristen, a Florida native, has spent her 10+ year career in corporate fiduciary services, including the administration of high net worth trusts and estates, wealth management, and banking with one of the oldest and largest banks in the country before co-founding Flourish Law Group.
She has significant experience working with families on their estate planning, trust administration, settlement of complicated estates and wealth management. Kristen incorporates this knowledge when drafting a well-crafted estate plan, designed to avoid probate, family conflict and uncertainty.
Kristen lives in St. Petersburg with her partner and fur baby Foxzi.

Lauren, a Florida native, has spent her 12+ year specializing in estate and tax planning, elder law, and probate administration. Prior to co-founding Flourish Law Group, Lauren’s prior roles included tax consultant with Deloitte and attorney with Holland & Knight’s Private Wealth Services Group.
Lauren is an adjunct professor of Wills & Trusts with St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law and a Florida Fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel.
Lauren is also the founder of The Wealthy Lawyer $quad, a community and coaching programs curated for pre-law and law students and new lawyers and the host of The Wealthy Lawyer $quad podcast. She was recently awarded the Prestigious Corporate Counsel’s Women, Influence & Power in Law Award for the Mental Health & Well Being Initiative.
She lives in Fort Lauderdale with her husband and two little boys.
